Who We Are
Counseling & Recovery Services, Inc., opened its doors in 1982 as a non-profit community mental health center. We are one of 15 community mental health centers under contract with the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.

How We Help
The goal has always been to provide quality treatment for people dealing with the effects of severe mental illness, such as major depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse, regardless of their ability to pay. These illnesses affect the ability to live successfully and independently in our community until diagnosis, treatment and support are received..

About Us
Our agency’s adult and children’s outpatient services, adult and children’s case management, and children’s crisis services at the CALM Center repeatedly receives the maximum three-year re-accreditation from CARF, the international accrediting agency for behavioral health services. In their most recent final report, the professionals who completed the CARF survey praised the agency’s board, leadership, and staff.
Depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and suicide risk are among the many mental health issues treated at our Tulsa and Sand Springs offices as well as the CALM Center, our 24/7 crisis unit for ages 10-17.
If you or a loved one think you may be depressed, you can use this self-screening instrument. If the results indicate you need help, call us or another mental health agency to begin the journey to feeling better.
