Children & Family

1 in 10 children and adolescents experiences emotional, behavioral or substance abuse issues that are serious enough to negatively impact relationships at home, school and in the community. Our children’s services are available from birth to age 25.

Our Child & Family Services:

Adult Services

One in four people will experience a mental health disorder. Mental health is as important as physical health to quality of life.  The good news is that treatment works, and recovery is possible. The first step toward recovery is calling for an appointment.

Our adult services include:

Substance Abuse

Addiction is a complex disease. Because drugs change the brain in ways that foster compulsive abuse, quitting is difficult, even for those who are ready to do so.

How We Help

The goal has always been to provide quality treatment for people dealing with the effects of severe mental illness, such as major depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse regardless of their ability to pay. These illnesses affect an individual’s ability to live successfully and independently in our community until diagnosis, treatment and support are received.

The CALM Center Renovations Revealed

TULSA – Renovations to The CALM Center were revealed in a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday September 25th at 2:15pm. An open house celebration with tours of the facility followed until 5pm. Counseling & Recovery Services’ leadership team, campaign donors, district legislators and project architects cut the ceremonial ribbon.

The renovations were made possible by a two-year capital campaign that successfully raised 1.3 million in generous contributions from local Foundations, Board Members, Companies, Clubs and individuals.

Since 2008, the CALM (Child and Adolescent Life Management) Center has provided immediate crisis support to over 4,000 Oklahoma youth ages 10-17 and their families. It is the only youth crisis stabilization center in eastern Oklahoma. With an increased demand for this critical care, these renovations were needed to create a larger, more welcoming lobby, new multipurpose room for family visits and education, and new offices for admissions and counseling.
