Meet Our Board of Directors

Leadership With Purpose

Counseling + Recovery Services, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is governed by a diverse and active volunteer Board of Directors.

Matt Christensen
Member / Quiktrip

Matt is a father of two incredible daughters and the husband of a dedicated volleyball coach who serves with the Wave Club Team. Their family includes a cat and two dogs, and they have deep roots in Tulsa, where they have lived for most of their lives.

Matt is an attorney whose practice focuses on real estate transactions, financing, and development. He currently serves as Of Counsel with Sherwood & Robert.

Matt values everything Tulsa has to offer, including its arts, music, history, dining, and strong sense of community. He enjoys reading whenever he can, taking early morning and late evening walks, and spending time with his family. One of his favorite pastimes is swimming with his children.

Matt is honored to serve on the Board of Counseling & Recovery Services of Oklahoma. His commitment to the organization is personal. Through his own life experiences, he understands the impact of mental health and substance use challenges and the barriers that stigma can create for individuals and families seeking support. He is grateful for the opportunity to help advance the mission of CRSOK and remains hopeful about the future of mental health care and recovery in our community.
