Angela Elmore
Member / Tulsa Community College
Angela Elmore is an assistant professor at Tulsa Community College. At TCC, Angela educates Licensed Practical Nurses and paramedics in the Career Mobility nursing program. Angela attended the University of Missouri-Columbia, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She received her master’s in nursing education from Capella University. In addition, Angela has a board certification from ANCC in Medical-Surgical nursing. Angela has 30 years of nursing experience and has worked in Tulsa area hospitals.
Angela has a passion for helping others, teaching, and learning. She joined the board after being asked by a friend. After caring for patients in the hospital who were admitted due to physical needs that occurred from untreated mental health needs, the need for mental health services and resources for the community became apparent.
Angela has four children and one dog who thinks she is a kid. Angela actively serves in the community as a member of the Eastern Oklahoma Black Nurses Association, Oklahoma Nurses Association, American Nurses Association, Sigma Theta Tau, and as a board member for the University of Missouri-Columbia Nursing Alumni Association.
