Three Major Goals
PAUSE: A safe pause from community or family stress to identify trauma, explore strengths, clarify emotions, and learn life management and coping skills to integrate into daily life.
PERSPECTIVE: A clinical perspective on behavioral health and diagnosis from an experienced team of board certified physicians, nurses, life skills coaches and clinical therapists.
PLAN: A coordinated plan connecting client and family with the next steps in treatment and their future needs.
The First Step
Simply give us a call to start your journey toward feeling better
All it takes is a single phone call to start the journey toward a happier, healthier you! The first appointment is free. Youth in crisis can call any time of day or night.
Crisis to CALM
The CALM Center is a safe and caring place for youth ages 10-17 to receive immediate support, assessment and stabilization for an emotional, behavioral or substance abuse crisis any time of day or night. Care is provided regardless of ability to pay, and a referral is not necessary.
A board and ASAM certified psychiatrist along with licensed nurses, therapists
The CALM Center fills the gap between outpatient and inpatient care for kids in crisis. Crisis situations that often lead to admissions include suicidal thoughts, defiant behaviors at school and home and dangerous behaviors.
CALM Center clients see a strong decrease in depression (54%) and anxiety (60%) during their one-week stay.
