URC Milieu Therapist 23-011 Requires a master’s degree in clinical counseling, social work, or other mental health related field. Candidates are expected to have or be eligible to obtain State Board licensure. (LPC, LMFT, LADC-MH, LBP, LCSW.) This position provides assessments and treatment planning to children, adults, and families. Must have the ability to diagnose, intervene, and effectively refer persons in need of mental health services. Will provide clinical counseling/behavioral health care services to individuals and families admitted to the Urgent Recover Center (URC) on a consistent and regular basis throughout their stay. The services provided will be in line with education, training and/or experience. A successful candidate will be able to engage clients in the intake process and provide a welcoming environment for them to begin behavioral health services.
