Jason Prideaux

Member/Accounting & Finance

Jason is currently the Director of Accounting at ORU. Prior to that, he was Senior Director of Operations for ETX Energy. In every role Jason utilizes his proficiency with accounting knowledge along with a flair for accuracy while developing and maintaining rapport with all internal/ external departments and agencies. Jason is a forward-thinker and highly accomplished oil and gas professional with core competencies in revenue, marketing, gas processing, and audits. Jason joined ETX Energy in 2019 after several years in The Woodlands, TX, helping companies through bankruptcy and positioning them to consolidate assets. Jason has over 15 years of experience in Oil and Gas, from E&P to Midstream.

After moving back to Oklahoma, Jason founded and started K12 Sports USA, a 501(c)3 nonprofit youth organization. Jason, along with three other individuals, began the process of offering after school options to parents in lower income communities. K12 Sports offers just one-day-a-week practice and games so working parents have a better chance to attend games.

Jason is a also a graduate from ORU with an MBA concentration in Accounting &Finance and an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Newman University. Jason is also pursuing a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Oklahoma. Jason is an active Alumni Board Member of Newman University, Jenks Leadership graduate, and volunteers with Meals on Wheels, United Way’s Day of Caring, and The University of Oklahoma foundation. Jason is an active member of Jenks First Baptist and is married to Kourtney Prideaux and they have four kids: Kline, Klaire, Kale, and Klark. Outside of family, work, and school, Jason enjoys Tom Clancy books, jazz music, theater, museums, and local restaurants.
