Housing Care Coordinator (23-013) We are looking for a team player who takes initiative and is passionate about helping others. This position will provide housing case management services to clients who may be experiencing or are at risk of experiencing homelessness. This position will work to transition clients to transitional or permanent housing by connecting them with the appropriate community resources. This position will also play a key role in working with our clients housed in our transitional housing program. Duties include but are not limited to assessing housing needs and preferences, educating about housing options, navigating housing- related benefits, completing housing applications, support with housing interviews, advocating for housing placements, support with skills necessary to maintain housing, and developing and sustaining relationships with housing providers. The ideal candidate for this position would possess a high-level patience and flexibility, as well as a good working knowledge of housing resources in the Tulsa area. Candidate will be responsible for incorporating the agency’s Sanctuary Model principles and tools into client care. This position requires a bachelor’s degree in the field of social or human services from a recognized university. Must have or be eligible for Case Management II certification. Minimum of one-year experience working with adults in a mental health or related social service field. Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
