The Community Service Council of Tulsa honored Pat Avery and Ruth Archer as Watchmen during its 70th anniversary Celebration last week.
They were recognized for their work with the Children’s Behavioral Health Community Team for more than a decade. This team connects children and their families to appropriate services in the community by bringing all the community’s agencies together.
Ruth and Pat are family support providers with the Wraparound Tulsa support teams that help children dealing with complex behavioral health issues and their families. Wraparound provides coordination of the various community services along with advocacy based on the families’ choices and needs.
