Joy in the Cause donated several dozen backpacks filled with Mavis dogs, t-shirts, toiletries, flashlights, and more to children who come to the CALM Center in an emotional, behavioral or substance abuse crisis.
“Many children arrive without toiletries or extra clothing so these gifts are especially important,” said CALM Center Director Matthew Crum. “This meets a true need.”
Matthew and Development Director Taylor Shorb visited Joy in the Cause’s headquarters to receive the backpacks from its Development Director Nancy Phelps.
“Thank you, Joy in the Cause, for this incredible donation,” Taylor said.
