In each classroom, 15 percent of children have a mental health/brain disorder affecting their ability to learn and manage their behavior. These children often end up in trouble for not staying on task, disrupting class and acting out. It doesn’t need to happen this way.
So much amazing research is underway that will eventually lead to better diagnosis, medication and treatment.
