Recovery Starts Here

Paul Bauman

I joined the board in September of 2016 after being thoroughly impressed by the mission of the organization and taking a tour of the CALM Center.  I felt at the time, and I continue to feel, that Counseling & Recovery Services is meeting a large need in the Tulsa area and the organization needs to be increasingly spotlighted and supported for their effort.

I enjoy serving on the board and I love hearing the stories of the individuals and families that have had their lives and the lives of loved ones changed for the better through work with Counseling & Recovery Services.  The staff continues to impress me with their love and care for the clients and I feel that being a part of the board helps me be connected to their mission of helping to build better lives in our community.

I work at BancFirst as a commercial loan officer and have served on various boards and non-profit boards in Oklahoma during my 20 year banking career.  I currently serve on the Counseling & Recovery Services Finance committee along with being on their full board.

I grew up in Oklahoma and moved back to Tulsa after graduating college from Baylor University.  I met my wife in the Tulsa area and we have been married for over 14 years.  We have 3 wonderful children that always keep us entertained and busy.  We attend church at First Baptist Church of Tulsa.

My hobbies include tennis, running, coin collecting, following the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals, and spending time with my family.  I also love to travel when time permits.
